In 1999, three friends decided to get together and take over the management of a small hotel in the heart of Sultanahmet, the historical area of Turkey’s most famous city of Istanbul.

The Management of the Tashkonak Hotel are proud to announce the opening of our new annexe building, Tashkonak Suites Hotel.

The rooms and facilities will be different but you will still enjoy our warm hospitality and friendly service.

We have been running the Tashkonak as a family hotel for the past 10 years and will continue to provide the same atmosphere and quality service in our annexe hotel.

We wanted our guests to experience a real Turkish family atmosphere, together with genuine Turkish hospitality.

All our guests are very important to us. In fact, they are more than just hotel guests.

They become our friends and are part of an extended family, the Tashkonak family.
